What is Unified SASE?
Secure access service edge (SASE) is a network architecture that combines cloud-based cybersecurity, or security service edge (SSE), with software-defined, wide-area network (SD-WAN) capabilities.
- HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN allows businesses to connect users to applications using a combination of transport services like broadband internet, LTE, and MPLS.
- HPE Aruba Networking has once again been named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for SD-WAN. This marks the seventh-consecutive year as a Leader.
- HPE Aruba Networking SSE is the security component of SASE that unifies all security services and includes the following:
- Zero trust network access (ZTNA): Enhances your customers' network security, performance, and cost savings by replacing their VPN with HPE Aruba Networking ZTNA.
- Secure web gateway (SWG): Enables zero trust access to the internet through advanced SSL inspection, URL filtering, sandboxing, malware scanning, threat intelligence protection, and DNS filtering.
- Cloud access security broker (CASB): Mediates secure connectivity to SaaS apps to ensure sensitive data remains protected, data loss is prevented, and the chance of a cyberattack is reduced.
- Digital experience monitoring (DEM): Provides in-depth monitoring of device, app, and network performance, as well as the hop-by-hop network path, so IT can easily pinpoint connectivity issues and resolve them faster.
