Brenda McCurry

As Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource POS and Barcode, Brenda manages the Company’s vendor relationships, guides strategy and directs her team in identifying and developing growth opportunities. Additionally, she is responsible for the recruitment of new vendors, revenue management, and setting profitability goals for the team.

“One community initiative I’m involved with is the Frazee Center. It provides free preschool, after school, and summer programs for under-resourced children in the downtown Greenville area. Additionally, the program offers assistance and guidance to children ages 3-16 in the areas of academics, character development, sportsmanship and emotional wellness. Through the program, I currently mentor a young lady – an experience that’s been very rewarding.”

Brenda joined ScanSource in 1993 as a Marketing Manager. Since then, she has held positions throughout the company focused on vendor relationships, marketing program success, and new customer recruitment. She has worked in both the POS and Barcode and the Communications business units in leadership roles for both sales and merchandising.

Prior to joining ScanSource, Brenda spent 10 years in sales and product management roles in the IT distribution industry.
