ScanSource Announces New Vendor Program Enabling Complementary Technologies to Be Sold to Resellers
ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ:SCSC), the leading international value-added distributor of specialty technology products, today announced ScanSource Satellite, a new vendor on-boarding program that is intended for complementary technologies and emerging vendors to sell their products to ScanSource’s network of resellers.
ScanSource Satellite is a program for vendors that are not on ScanSource’s line card but whose products round out those solutions already being offered by ScanSource vendors. Products from these vendors, which include AML, Atdec, Bixolon, Badgy by Evolis, Tailwind, and TSC, are housed in the ScanSource Distribution Center on a consignment basis. Currently only introduced through ScanSource POS and Barcode, the program allows ScanSource resellers to have access to solutions that complement their current offering, while also enabling smaller complementary vendors to sell to ScanSource’s reseller partners.

With ScanSource Satellite, resellers can take advantage of ScanSource’s proven reliability in order fulfillment and do not need to deal with second sets of invoices or deliveries. Products offered through ScanSource Satellite are directly supported by a ScanSource Satellite customer service agent that is managed through the ScanSource Services Group.
