ARUBA AND CATALYST TELECOM OPEN THE DOOR TO THE ALL-WIRELESS WORKPLACE

Sunnyvale, CA and Greenville, SC - November 07, 2007 - Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), a global leader in user-centric networks and secure mobility solutions, in conjunction with its distribution partner Catalyst Telecom, a division of ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC), and a leading international distributor of converged communication solutions for the enterprise, today announced that on November 12, at IMPACT NOW Orlando, they will present a new unified mobility solution that makes it practical to deploy a highly secure, completely all-wireless workplace for converged data, voice, and video applications. In a presentation titled The All-Wireless Workplace Is Now Open For Business the companies will explain how Aruba’s new 802.11n networks and 80Gbps Multi-Service Mobility Controller, used in conjunction with complementary voice products distributed by Catalyst Telecom, enables users to experience the speed of a wired network and the convenience and cost-savings of an all-wireless network.

“By offering higher security, more flexible deployment options, and better performance than typical wired Ethernet networks, we see 802.11n as a viable replacement for wired infrastructure,” said Keerti Melkote, Aruba’s co-founder and head of products and partnerships. “Aruba’s 802.11n networks for the first time enable customers to use high-performance, secure wireless networks in lieu of port-based wired networks. We designed our 802.11n solution to work with existing switches, routers, and power-over-Ethernet devices so that customers can leverage existing infrastructure with no core, and minimal edge, upgrades. This simplifies the migration path away from wired networks to a secure, flexible, and scalable all-wireless network designed for today’s mobile workforce.”

Catalyst Telecom partners with the industry's leading manufacturers to provide a single source for innovative, cutting-edge products. Through a convergence “power play” of telephony, voice, switching, routing, handset, and now secure mobility suppliers, Catalyst Telecom enables its resellers to leverage existing data infrastructure and deploy mission-critical applications like voice and video.

“Aruba’s innovative 802.11n solutions are a perfect complement to Avaya solutions and other products we carry, and we will use the new seminar series to extol the virtues of this powerful solution set,” said Buck Baker, senior vice president of merchandising, Catalyst Telecom. “Our objective is to make these new products available to solution providers who can combine them with our other best-in-class products to provide added-value to end-users.”
