NCR RealPOS 7878 Hybrid Scanner/Scale

The scanner solution realization team (SRT) is pleased to announce the NCR High-Performance Hybrid Bi-Optic Scanner (Class 7878) has achieved country customer availability (CCA) status in the Product Lifecycle Management, bringing the world’s first Hybrid Bi-Optic scanner to market.

This new scanner changes the game with its revolutionary hybrid scanning technology. This new technology leverages both laser and imaging to deliver the key performance retailers depend on for everyday items, while addressing 2D bar codes and mobile phones at the same device.

This new scanner can be ordered in two scanning variations:

· Hybrid 7878 – This is indicated by configuring the scanner with the “F150” feature.

· Traditional Laser Only 7878 – This model can be upgraded at a later date with the purchase of the “K150” kit.
