Special Bid The Special Bid Process is designed for an IBM Business Partner who is in a competitive opportunity with an end user. A Special Bid will enable the IBM Business Partner to offer a competitive price in the opportunity with a goal to win the deal.
Demonstration Equipment IBM offers a Demonstration or Development program for business partners to obtain IBM hardware products at a reduced discount or reasonable monthly payment. These programs enable Business Partners (BPs) to have a system for trade shows, demonstrations in end-user accounts, or to develop a software for the hardware.
Trial Program IBM developed the Business Partner Trial Program to enable a Business Partner to install a complete IBM solution in an end-user account for the end user to evaluate the total solution. Until further notice, IBM has waived all the fees for this program. It is a great tool to put a system into the end-user's hands. Statistics show that if a system is installed in an end-user account, the possibility of that end user purchasing the system increases.
Partner Rewards Partner Rewards incentive programs are designed to help your business grow by giving back a percentage of the revenue you generate for IBM and to offer performance bonuses for Business Partners who meet specific targets.
Business Partner Rewards Program Eligible IBM RSS Business Partners who are members of PartnerWorld can receive incentive payments that are based on a combination of the total IBM RSS revenue they generate during each calendar quarter of the 2011 calendar year, and their IBM PartnerWorld membership level in effect on the last day of each calendar quarter.

RSS 2011 Co-Marketing Incentive Eligible IBM Business Partners, who are members of PartnerWorld, can receive reimbursement from IBM for eligible marketing expenses when they run a qualifying marketing campaign that features eligible IBM Retail Store Solutions (RSS) products.
The amount of reimbursement they can receive is based on a combination of the total IBM RSS revenue they generate during 1Q 2011 and 2Q 2011, independently, and their IBM PartnerWorld membership level in effect on the last day of each of these calendar quarters.

IBM Retail Store Solutions will provide new solution-based pricing for Distributors whose Solution Provider Business Partners have sizable opportunities with a pre-determined point-of-sale configuration along with their Solution Category Application VAE. IBM RSS Prometric Test Voucher Business Partner Incentive (Expires September 23, 2011)
For a limited time only, eligible IBM Business Partners can receive Prometric Test Vouchers for 100% off the cost of eligible IBM Retail Store Solutions (RSS) certification, sales or technical mastery tests.
The Prometric Test Vouchers are valid for use through September 30, 2011 at Prometric Testing Centers and IBM RSS educational conferences where testing is available. Requests for Prometric Test Vouchers must be submitted to IBM no later than September 23, 2011. Please contract your ScanSource sales rep for more information.
2011 Mid-Market Co-Funded Marketing IBM Solution Providers and Resellers who have combined Mid-Market revenue for the period from 4Q 2009 through 3Q 2010 inclusive of at least $25,000 USD are eligible for the offering. In addition, IBM Business Partners who participated in the 2010 Mid-Market Co-Marketing Offering are eligible for the 2011 Mid-Market Offering.
The offering provides Solution Providers and Resellers with reimbursement up to 75% of the total cost against approved marketing activities. All eligible Business Partners will have $10,000 USD in matching funding available to them.

The PartnerWorld offering integrates more than 50 existing programs to help you find and benefit from the programs you need. Benefit areas include: marketing and sales, education, technical support, incentives, and financing.
The PartnerWorld program has a common registration process for all Business Partners. As you increase your investment commitment to IBM, you can chart your firm’s progress through the three participation levels—Member, Advanced, and Premier. This tiered support structure helps you grow your business and expand opportunities by providing proportionally increased resources.
