- Processing Speed: The new Intel® ULV Celeron® M 373 of the SurePOS 300 (model 34x) running at 1.GHz offers larger L1 & L2 Cache (32 KB L1 and 512 KB L2) when compared to the older Intel® Celeron® 2.0 GHz (8 KB L1 and 128 KB L2 Cache). Overall and per the results of standard benchmarking tools, the new processor offers an average of 10-15% increased performance over the previous processor, depending on the performed test.
- Efficiency: Using a 1GHz Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) Intel Celeron Mobile 373 Processor and Intel 910GMLE/ICH6M and a high-efficiency power supply (80+), the new SurePOS 300 terminal has enough power to run the most demanding retail applications, while staying energy efficient and minimizing heat dissipation. Designed to reduce energy consumption by 35% in normal operating conditions and by an additional 47% when placed in deep sleep mode (S3).
- Heat & Noise: The new SurePOS 300 processor dissipates less heat than its predecessor, which allows for a fan-less processor design. This ultimately means that the terminal runs virtually silent dissipating 13% less noise.
- Features a new microarchitecture designed from the ground up: – Dedicated hardware stack manager employs sophisticated hardware control for improved stack management – Micro-ops fusion for improved instruction execution – Advanced branch prediction capability – Level 2 Advanced Transfer Cache (ATC) delivers a high-data throughput channel between the Level 2 cache and processor core (1 MB for Intel Celeron M processor 370; 512 KB for Intel Celeron M processor Ultra Low Voltage 373) - Second-generation Streaming SIMD Extensions (Streaming SIMD Extensions 2) capability adds 144 new instructions, including 128-bit SIMD integer arithmetic and 128-bit SIMD double-precision floating-point operation |
